The dry run shows the mould isn’t the right thickness in some spots (miscalculations and mm lost by sanding) this means the ply and glue wont bond properly and bubbles will appear. I’ll need to go back and pack these out to ensure the veneers stick together properly.

I’m greatful that after 9 weeks of building this mould the dry run has proven the end product might actually work.

The downside to ply this thin is it chips easily.

All with slight design alterations. Soon I’ll be user testing them with friends and getting peoples feedback.
